Volunteer Vacancies
Ukelele Teacher
To engage community members through teaching them how to play the Ukulele. The volunteer will be provided with an induction and orientation to their workplace and to Mission Australia including a detailed Workplace, Health & Safety briefing.
Community Liasion
Hambledon House Community Centre is the centre of the community. It provides a place for community members to seek information regarding services, events and to connect. Frequently Asked Questions
Given the nature of our work, volunteers often assist some of the most vulnerable individuals in our society. As such, volunteers are required to undergo a police check and, if working with children or young people, a Working with Children Check.
We need volunteers all year round. We have lots of events throughout the year where we need volunteers. Check out our upcoming events here, and see if there’s any you can help us with.

Hambledon House relies on the kindness and generosity of the local community and businesses to continue its vital work. We are always accepting donations of non-perishable food items, clothing, and other essential goods.
Donations accepted:
- Non-perishable food (canned goods, dry foods)
- Clothing for all ages
- Household essentials (toiletries, cleaning supplies)
- Children’s toys and educational materials
